What is the Nijut Moina Scheme
Nijut Moina Scheme is a social welfare scheme launched by the state government of Assam. The Chief Minister of Assam has released the Mukhyamantri Nijut Moina scheme. The scheme started on 2 October 2020. Under this scheme, the government provided financial assistance to the girls’ students to continue their studies at graduate and post-graduate levels in better colleges and universities. Through this, the government aims to empower girl students by providing them with financial support and decreasing school dropout rates, and providing better education to the young girls, especially from underprivileged backgrounds. By offering this scheme, the government decided to support 10 lakh girls to continue their studies and prevent early marriage.
Nijut Moina First Installment in October 2025
The state government of Assam launched the Nijut Moina First Installment Date. The amount will be directly transferred into the bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries between 10th and 15th October 2025. All applicants need to check their bank accounts during this time, and the applicants’ Aadhaar cards must be linked with their active bank accounts to avoid delay. All the eligible beneficiaries don’t need to worry about their Installment because every eligible beneficiary will receive the amount on time as per the time given by the government.
