Under this scheme government set up Mission Shakti centers in all 1,663 police stations across the state. Digital Security Training for Women
Through this scheme government trained around 50,000 women so they can handle online trolling, data safety problems, and cyberbullying. With the help of this program, the cyber complaints related to women are reduced by 60% and there are many female citizens who are scared to use online platforms; now they feel safe through this program and use online platforms without any fear.
Shakti Samvad Program
The Shakti Samvad Program is a social welfare program. Under this program, there are more than 14.70 lakh women and girls who are a part of the Shakti Samvad Program. Through this program government shared simple information about self-defense, cyber safety, and legal rights. By offering this program government aims to directly talk with women and make them more aware of their rights, and create a strong community support.
Strong Action Against Anti-Social Elements
Through this program, there are a total of 3,972 people who were arrested who are committing cyber crimes, and around 3 lakh people received warnings in public places, so they are warned about maintaining discipline. By offering this program, there are over 44,177 women police officers who are active on the ground. This program improves the response speed of female citizens’ complaints.
Background of Mission Shakti – Phase 1 to Phase 4
There are a total of 4 phases background of Mission Shakti, which was launched by Mr. Yogi Aadityanath for the safety of women, and these phases are as follows:-
- Phase 1 (2020):– Under this phase government started raising awareness about citizens’ respect and safety. This program helps women know where and how to receive help
- Phase 2 (2021):- Through this program government shares legal rights and government schemes with female citizens, which means they can use them without any trouble
- Phase 3 (2022):- By offering this program government aims to provide safety and make women independent with the help of training, skills, development, and awareness events
- Phase 4 (2023-24):- Under this program government added the women for beat officers model for fast help, village-level contact, and quick complaints disposal
