About Assam Jibon Prerna Scheme
Chief Minister of Assam Mr Hemanta Biswa Sarma has launched this Assam Jibon Prerna Scheme to provide financial help and support to all the students and Research Scholars who graduated from Government Universities or Colleges. According to this scheme, the Government will offer students two options for getting financial help one is to get monthly financial assistance of INR 2500 for 1 year and the other option is to get INR 25000 in a single payment. All the students must have their bank account linked with an Aadhar Card to get financial assistance directly from their bank accounts. As per the reports stated by the Officials, the Government of Assam has allocated a Total Budget of INR 25 Crore for the implementation of this scheme. With the help of this initiative all those students who come from financially weaker, sections can easily manage their expenses and requirements.
