A new major initiative named “Indiramma Housing Scheme 2025” started by a Telangana government. Financial support will be given to the homeless people of Telangana to help them to buy their dream house. Indiramma Housing Scheme
The Indiramma Housing Scheme is started by the Telangana Government to reduce homeless people by providing them with homes under this scheme. The construction of Indiramma houses from the Appakapalle village in Narayanpet Mandal was launched by Telangana Chief Minister Shri Revanth Reddy on Friday. For the benefit of citizens, the government made an online portal through which they can apply comfortably.

Initially, the Indiramma Illu Housing Scheme’s first phase aims to build 75,045 houses under the housing scheme and it aims to build around 4.5 lakh houses across the state within a year time period. Applicants have been identified and received their allotment letter by the government and the construction will be started by March 10.

Purpose of Indiramma Housing Scheme
- The main goal for the introduction of “Indiramma Housing Scheme” is to provide financial assistance to homeless people and reduce housing security in Telangana. The Scheme budget of INR 22,000 crores will cover 4.5 lakh houses to build within a year.
- The applicant will receive financial support based on several criteria i.e. the assistance for General applicant will be of INR 5 lakh and for Scheduled caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) the financial help will be of INR 6 lakh.
- For the smooth functioning of the scheme a digital tracking system to keep an eye on construction progress and funding distribution is introduced by the Telangana State Housing Corporation Limited. Strict timeline has been issued for the basement-level completion.
