Through this scheme government arranged AC Buses or trains for travel, meals and a medical team, and an AC stay for all the residents whose age is 50 years or above. The Mukhya Mantri Teerth Yatra Yojana covers main shrines in Amritsar, such as Durgiana Temple, Bhagwaan Valmiki Tirath Sthal, Sri Harmandir Sahib, along with Jallianwala Bagh and Partition Museum visits. Under this program the government planned to provides many facilities during the Yatra and these are AC buses or trains, and eligible beneficiary stay is arranged in AC accommodation with proper meals and also providing safe drinking water.
